Cover Reveal: I Love You, I Like Her by J.R. Rogue

SYNOPSIS

In a lot of ways, I was one of the lucky ones. My high school crush liked me back. It
should have been magic and fire, but it was tragic and brutal. I wrote it that way,
anyways.

His name was Bryan Winthrop. He was our high school basketball star. The prom king.
The most beautiful boy I had ever laid eyes on. He liked me — the theatre geek who
never should have caught his eye — but he loved her.

It’s been more than 10 years since the homecoming dance. Since the night he kissed
me, breaking both of our hearts for the first time.

After the scandal, after graduation, I left our small town and made a name for myself on
Broadway, then in Hollywood. I didn’t mean for the play I wrote about our high school
affair to blow up. I didn’t mean for it to reach all the way back to my roots, wreaking
havoc, wrecking families.

Bryan Winthrop and I were not friends, not lovers.

But I’m back. And for one summer — if she lets us — maybe we can be.

Book Review: Marrow by Tarryn Fisher

This book is definitely unique. I'm still not sure what happened. Margo Moon is a the prostitute's daughter. Her mother can be harsh and uncaring, similar to the place she calls home. Margo moves from the shy girl not wanting to be seen to a strong girl that is wanting to dish out poetic justice. As she moves through the book she starts to act on her instincts of justice. Some of the scenes will make you want to cringe as well as cheer her on. The people that receive her poetic justice are more than deserving of it but the idea of taking a life is also a hard thing to embrace. I don't blame her yet I do. It's very confusing and it makes you think about what you would do if you were in Margo's situation.  Move forward in the book some more and you find that she is suffering from a mental disorder. She has made up certain people in her life, or has she? I don't completely trust her doctor either and if you've read Mud Vein then you know why. I never could re...

Meet the characters of Pedal to the Metal: Jagger & Londynn

As I finish up the edits on Pedal to the Metal: Jagger & Londynn I thought you might enjoy seeing the pictures that inspired the characters. Enjoy! Pedal to the Metal: Jagger & Londynn follows the story of Jagger James and Londynn Parrish. Jagger is one of five brothers that have a need for speed. They are all named after 80s music stars, they all race as if their lives depend on it and their all a little bad ass. They grew up on the poorer side of town but it only made them fight harder at the races every weekend.  Jagger met a girl named Harlyn Bexton as a teenager and quickly fell in love. After high school they started a life together only to have tragedy strike. Staying in L.A. is out of the question for Jagger afterwards so he runs to Vegas only to return five years later. Londynn Parrish is your typical trust fund baby. Born and raised in one of the richest parts of L.A., attended a private academy and was given anything money could buy. However, what she wants...
