Bromberg never disappoints and I loved this book. She made me want to watch baseball! She does a great job of creating this really dynamic, independent, awesome characters that you fall in love with. Scout Dalton--is working in a male dominated field but she's learned from the best, her father. She's trying to fill his shoes and secure a contract with the Ace's, her fathers wish. She has a certain amount of time to get the Ace's star player Easton Wylder back on the starting line up even though his injury would have been career ending for most. Easton Wylder--has grown up with baseball in his blood. Son of the great Cal "Iron Giant" Wylder who also played for the Ace's. His injury has him sidelined, his relationship with is his dad is strained and his mom is an alcoholic that he has to tend to in the middle of the night. He can't afford to be traded so he needs the best to get him back in shape. However, neither of them anticipated the attraction and feelings that start to form between them. Problem is Scout is scared and is constantly running but Easton is willing to chase her, the question is how far? https://www.amazon.com/Player-Duet-Book-ebook/dp/B071Y2G4FG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1532621314&sr=8-1&keywords=the+player+k+bromberg |

Some of the scenes will make you want to cringe as well as cheer her on. The people that receive her poetic justice are more than deserving of it but the idea of taking a life is also a hard thing to embrace. I don't blame her yet I do. It's very confusing and it makes you think about what you would do if you were in Margo's situation. Move forward in the book some more and you find that she is suffering from a mental disorder. She has made up certain people in her life, or has she? I don't completely trust her doctor either and if you've read Mud Vein then you know why. I never could re...
