Synopsis: Pedal to the Metal is a fast paced love story about overcoming heartache and learning how to fall in love again. Their world revolves around all things cars even owning a car shop. Pedal to the Metal follows the story of Jagger James.
Five years ago a tragic accident changed Jagger’s life forever. He ran from L.A. to Las Vegas, leaving his father, four brothers, and former life behind. Now, after his father’s death he’s returning to help his brothers with the family business and his former street racing reputation. On his first night back in town his path crosses with Londynn’s at the races. She awakens something in him that he hasn’t felt since that fateful night years ago.
Londynn Parrish may look like your typical rich girl but she’s far from it. Her entire life has been prepared and handed to her, but all she craves is freedom. Freedom to make her own choices and build her own life. Even if that means leaving behind the life she knows and moving forward with one of the James brothers. Jagger is your typical bad boy with a tortured past and grew up on the wrong side of town. He’s been gone for five years, but he’s back now and neither Londynn or Jagger can deny the pull they feel for one another.

Book Review: Marrow by Tarryn Fisher

This book is definitely unique. I'm still not sure what happened. Margo Moon is a the prostitute's daughter. Her mother can be harsh and uncaring, similar to the place she calls home. Margo moves from the shy girl not wanting to be seen to a strong girl that is wanting to dish out poetic justice. As she moves through the book she starts to act on her instincts of justice. Some of the scenes will make you want to cringe as well as cheer her on. The people that receive her poetic justice are more than deserving of it but the idea of taking a life is also a hard thing to embrace. I don't blame her yet I do. It's very confusing and it makes you think about what you would do if you were in Margo's situation.  Move forward in the book some more and you find that she is suffering from a mental disorder. Review: Coming Alive by Renee Harless

I finished Coming Alive by Renee Harless last night and I can't wait to start the next in the series. Review below: This was my first book by Harless and I wasn't disappointed. She has a great way of making you feel the emotions of the characters and boy did this book have the emotion. Harless puts Avery through so much and yet she still manages to move forward which makes her such an inspiring character. Avery--is a girl who has been through hell and back and is still standi ng. Everyone would understand if she gave up but she never does. I'm not sure how this poor girl didn't drown in her grief. She's also one of the most selfless characters I've read about. Logan--is the guy that every girl wants to be with and at first I'll admit I thought he only went after Avery because she was saying no. However he surprised me when he truly feel for Avery. His back story is heartbreaking as well but I was glad to see him let go of that a move forward. ...
