Book Review: Sweet Little Lies by Abbi Glines

As much as I hated the ending to Sweet Little Thing I loved where this book went. I loved getting to see a different side of Stone. I had been curious about him since the first book.  It was good to see Beulah still fighting and strong even when it would have been easy to just give up. She is a really independent and strong character that is easy to love. I loved that Abbi showed us another side to Stone. I knew there was more to him that just the cold hard ass side of him. He comes in to pick up the pieces that Jasper left broken and continues breaking. Who would have guessed that Stone would be the night in shining armor. I'm really excited to see what happens next. Glines has never shied away from a descriptive sex scene but this has more of an erotic romance feel compared to her previous books. She pulls it off really well just wasn't really expecting it. Great, quick read overall. https://www.amazon.com/Sweet-Little-Lies-Book-ebook/dp/B07CRM34QK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&am

Book Review: Midnight Blue by LJ Shen

I loved this book so much that it's hard to not put spoilers in the review so in order to avoid that, I'm going with a short review! This book is five stars of awesome! I really didn't expect to like Alex Winslow when I first started to read this book but as time went along I couldn't help but love the bad boy rocker who didn't realize he was in love with Indie until she was gone.  Indie is a one of a kind character with ice blue hair and a love for vintage dresses. She isn't afraid to put Alex in his place and I loved that about her.  These two characters should have exploded leaving nothing but heartbreak behind yet somehow even when they did explode they manage to find a way.  https://www.amazon.com/Midnight-Blue-L-J-Shen-ebook/dp/B0793DH5TP/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1532353727&sr=8-1&keywords=midnight+blue

Book Review: Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher

I love this book. I hate this book. I love Senna. I hate Senna. I love Isaac. I hate Isaac. I love the little cabin in the snow. I hate the little cabin in the snow.  This book...I don't even have the words for it actually. It will make you feel everything in one second and nothing the next. I seriously have emotional whiplash but in the best of ways.  As a writer myself I sometimes I figure out plots long before the book is finished but I couldn't this one. I've honestly never read a book like this. It was completely unique with it's characters, their development and the plot. It was my first book by Tarryn Fisher based on a recommendation from one of my best friends and I don't regret it. Also, it definitely won't be my last book by her.  https://www.amazon.com/Mud-Vein-Tarryn-Fisher-ebook/dp/B00JHVUQ70/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1531488727&sr=8-1&keywords=mud+vein

Book Review: Gent by Harloe Rae

I finished Gent by Harloe Rae a couple of days ago and I loved every word of it! I got sucked into this book so quickly. I loved the atmosphere that Rae created with Garden Grove. I loved the characters and the story line. I kind of wish there was more to this story just because I didn't want to leave Raven and Trey behind but it had the best ending! Raven--is new to the small town of Garden Grove and upon her first night there she runs into the town "asshole" and things instantly ignite. Raven sees something different behind Trey's rough demeanor. Quickly, she finds herself becoming more and more drawn to Trey regardless of his hot and cold demeanor. Trey--has a tragic past that has formed him into the hard ass he is now. He never wants anything more than a one night stand until Raven. Raven makes him feel different things and it scares him. He tries to push her away and convince himself that he doesn't need her. Can Raven break
