First birthday!

I can't believe Pedal to the Metal is already a year old! This wasn't the first book I wrote but it was the first one that started to build in mind. I remember after watching the very first Fast and Furious movie how I became obsessed with racers and that lifestyle. Of course at the time I was only in Jr. High but this story started to build. Over the years and as I've matured so has the story line and characters.

When I first sat down to write my first book I had every intention of writing Pedal to the Metal but instead Magicals came out and while it will always be my baby I've felt a deeper connection to the characters and world of the James Brothers series. Jagger and Londynn's story demanded to be written so much so that I had to change my scheduled writing timeline. I had set out to write all three books in the Magicals trilogy first but Pedal to the Metal just wouldn't let that happen.

I had just finished writing Capture and was plotting Ignite when I stopped and wrote Pedal to the Metal instead. In my mind it made sense it was only going to be one book and I already knew most of this story so it wouldn't take very long. However, while I was writing about Jagger I felt compelled to tell the rest of the James brothers stories.

Looking back now though I'm very glad I didn't write Pedal to the Metal first. I think over time my writing has become more detailed and well thought out. Yes, there are editing issues in all of my books but that's what happens when you do everything yourself. I feel though that if I had wrote this book first I wouldn't have done it the justice it deserved. Not to say that I didn't give Magicals my best but I feel like I've grown and with that so has my writing.

I hope you enjoy this book and characters as much as I did creating them.

Pedal to the Metal:

Five years ago a tragic accident changed Jagger’s life forever. He ran from L.A. to Las Vegas, leaving his father, four brothers and former life behind. Now after his father’s death he’s returning to help his brothers with the family business and his former street racing reputation. On his first night back in town his path crosses with Londynn’s at the races. She awakens something in him that he hasn’t felt since that fateful night years ago.

Londynn Parrish may look like your typical rich girl but she’s far from it. Her entire life has been prepared and handed to it but all she craves is freedom. Freedom to make her own choices and build her ow life. Even if that means leaving behind the life she knows and moving forward with one of the James brothers. Jagger is your typical bad boy with a tortured past and grew up on the wrong side of town. He’s been gone for five years but he’s back now and neither Londynn or Jagger can deny the pull they feel for one another.

Can Jagger let go of his past and create a future with Londynn? Can Londynn let go of the life prepared for her? Londynn has secrets of her own she’s trying to hide but will Jagger be the one to bring the wall down?

Can be read as a stand alone novel if you wish.

Book Review: Aced by K. Bromberg

So when I first read the Driven series I refused to read this book because I was worried about what Colton and Rylee were going to have to face. I loved these characters so much that I just wanted them to get that happily ever. They had fought through so much already. However, I got a friend hooked on Driven and she convinced me to read this one. I'm so glad she did. It was amazing. Bromberg took these two characters that I completely love and gave us another side of each of them completely. You get to see Rylee fall this time and Colton pick her up and save her for a change. I feel like in the rest of the books Rylee is always saving Colton but this time we got to see that Colton is a knight in shining armor. He saves Rylee and it's a beautiful thing to watch.  I also loved seeing their marriage, relationship and family grow. https://www.amazon.com/Aced-Driven-Book-K-Bromberg-ebook/dp/B013PGB1H6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1538498380&sr=8-1&keywords=aced+k+bromberg ...
